ZELNIK PROPERTIES ATTEND THE 20TH SKI & SNOW BOARD SHOW AT THE NEC
 Zelnik Properties were delighted to attend the 20th Ski & Board Show at the NEC. This prestigious event encompasses everything about winter sports and gave ZP the opportunity to showcase Beli Iskar & Bulgaria.
Being one of only a handful of Bulgarian companies at the show, they became the focal point and information source for Bulgarian/Borovets information. The stand was very popular and visitors were keen to hear about holiday/rentals, as well as potentially owning an apartment; the affordability surprised most people.
During the 3 day event the team handed out almost 1000 leaflets and answered 100's of enquiries; a very successful and enjoyable event.
During the show there were many enquiries about viewing trips. Consequently we are pleased to announce a viewing trip out to Borovets at the end of Jan 09. See our ad below for details.
During the trip there will be no hard sell, but for those who like the area and choose to reserve an apartment we will refund the cost of the trip (terms and conditions apply). We are booking the flights at 1pm on Wednesday 12th November, so if you would like to join us we need your response by 12pm that day.

POST OFFICE SURVEY RANKS BOROVETS THIRD FOR VALUE
 Recently ranked 3rd in a Post Office survey for the best value ski destination, Borovets has beaten off competition from North American and other Western European resorts.
Borovets offers tourists a wide range of facilities, including a gondola and good value restaurants. A number of the existing hotels have experienced a revamp and there are new apartments in Borovets that have been built and can be rented.
If the hustle and bustle of Borovets is not quite to your taste, then you can always try the nearby alpine style village of Beli Iskar.
Beli Iskar has a number of good quality but great value hotels, rental apartments and guest houses to choose from.

SUPER BOROVETS UPDATE
More evidence this month showing the progress of the Super Borovets Project. One of the biggest and most ambitious capital investment programmes in Bulgaria ever, this exciting development will see €500 million invested in Borovets and Beli Iskar.
The photographs below show the construction of a brand new, high speed four man chairlift. This will replace one of the four button lifts in the Markudjik area, a picturesque bowl just down from the top of the main gondola. This is a great improvement, as skiers and snow boarders who may feel less confident using a drag lift can now experience the Markudjik area confident in the knowledge that they can now easily return to the top of the resort on the chairlift.
Other exciting photographs taken in September this year show the reservoir for the new snow cannon system. Located just behind the Yastrebets hotel, about half way to the village of Beli Iskar, this huge construction will hold the water from the melting snow in summer. During the winter season, the lake will then feed the soon to be improved, enlarged snow cannon system.

Visitors to the picturesque village of Beli Iskar now have even more choice when it comes to eating and drinking. 
Owners of property in Beli Iskar have been campaigning to get internet connected to the village for the last year and it seems that their efforts will pay off! A Sofian internet company has agreed to install broadband into the village due to increased demand.
