Oh I do like to be beside the seaside - do you? |
Coming soon, a development close to the Black Sea resort of Sunny Beach. Further details in future newsletters.

PriceS CONTINUE TO RISE |
Chalet Iskar sale prices have recently increased slightly, due to additional 'EU' costs, however, they still represent excellent value for money. We envisage that the new prices will remain in place for the foreseeable future, although we recommend that you reserve your apartment now to ensure that you miss any future increases.

Friendly competition ? |
News of a new development, 'Forest View', has recently caught our
attention, located in the village of Goverdartsi.
Goverdartsi is about
10mins from Beli Iskar and about 15km from Borovets. Goverdartsi also has
some basic skiing facilities; just outside of the village, is a 3km long
ski run with a ski (drag) lift. The development is expected to incorporate
38 apartments and facilities including a swimming pool and bar. Although
not part of the main Super Borovets project, this development shows the
level of investment already pouring into the area.
Remember though, Beli Iskar is not only the place to invest, but far surpasses any other village for location and scenery, however, we are
pleased to report improvements in the surrounding areas and we welcome any
competition.

Borovets snow report
It's well into the skiing season in the bustling mountain resort of Borovets. Tourists are enjoying excellent conditions with clear skies, favourable temperatures and a very impressive average snow cover of 110cms! Contrast this with other more well known Western European resorts and you can start to see why Bulgaria is becoming a sought after winter destination for ski & boarding enthusiasts.

It was well reported in the travel press at the start of the season that concerns for the future of lower European resorts was growing. Global warming and climate change were quickly blamed for the abnormally warm temperatures that led to many tourists facing a snowless start to their holidays.
Some scientists are even claiming that in 15 years time, many low level ski resorts could have no snow at all! But according to leading experts at Reading University, it might not all be bad news. Dr David Stephenson, head of climate research at the university, is studying long-term climate changes in the Alps.
"There will be greater snow falls in the higher resorts," he said. "So although fewer ski resorts will have snow, those that do - could well have more of it"
Luckily Borovets falls into this categrory. The highest of the Bulgarian resorts, and rising to almost 2400m above sea level, Borovets sits on the Northern slopes of Mount Musala (Mount Musala is the highest peak in Bulgaria and the Balkan Peninsula at 2925m).
